Configuring license terms: geo, period, quantity & royalty

Understand the four core dimensions that shape every Iptoria license and how each affects price.

6 min read

Every Iptoria license is defined by a small set of configurable dimensions. Both creators (when listing) and licensees (when buying) interact with the same model, which keeps pricing transparent.

Territory (geo)

Define where the rights apply — worldwide, a region, or specific countries. Narrower territories typically cost less; worldwide and exclusive territories cost more.

Period

How long the license lasts, from a single campaign window to multi-year or perpetual. Period drives both the base fee and any renewal scheduling.

Quantity / scope

The volume of use permitted — units produced, impressions, seats, or distribution scale. Higher quantities scale the price according to the creator's tier rules.

Royalty

An optional ongoing percentage paid to the rights holder on revenue generated using the IP, in addition to (or instead of) an upfront fee.

Use the live price preview in the configurator to compare combinations before you commit. Price updates instantly as you adjust each dimension.
